Hi

I'd like to create a permanent or persistent ignore list for aspell. Is
this possible, or do I need to add these words to a dictionary?

Thanks

Hi,

If you are using Aspell in the command line, just choose Add or Add
Lower. These commands will automatically add the word in question to
your user dictionary, which is exactly the permanent ignore list you want.

If you want to edit your user dictionary, it's the hidden file
.aspell.xx.pws in your user folder (/home/username), where xx is your
language code.

Thanks.

I wondered if that's what it amounted to but wanted to double-check.

cheers
